Clemson finishes 25th in final ITA poll.
June 8, 2004 CLEMSON, SC- The Clemson men's tennis team finished 25th in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon. This is the highest finish for the Tigers since the 1997 season. That year, the Tigers finished 19th. Under Head Coach Chuck Kriese, this is the 14th time he has coached a team to a top 25 finish. Clemson finished the season with a 26-12 record overall. This was the most victories for the Tigers since the 1986 season. The Tigers also advanced to the NCAA Final Eight. Under Head Clemson Head Coach Chuck Kriese, this was Clemson's seventh trip to the NCAA Final Eight, and the first trip to the Final Eight since the 1986 season.
