Clemson to begin play in the ACC Men's Tennis Championships Friday

CLEMSON, SC-The Clemson men's tennis team will begin play in the 46th annual ACC Men's Tennis Championship at the Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center in Raleigh, NC on April 16-18.

The fifth seeded-Tigers will play fourth-seeded Georgia Tech at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16.

Clemson has a 21-10 record overall, while Georgia Tech has a 15-6 record overall. The Yellow Jackets defeated Clemson 4-3 on March 10 in Atlanta, GA. Clemson has won five matches in a row heading into the tournament. Georgia Tech is ranked 26th nationally.

Clemson has won 11 ACC Tournaments over the years, 10 under head Coach Chuck Kriese. Kriese is the all-time winningest coach in ACC history in both total career wins (586-366) and total ACC wins (148-62).

This will be the 37th meeting between Clemson and Georgia Tech on the tennis courts. Clemson leads the overall series 23-13.
