Clemson To Host Miami in Men's Tennis on Saturday
April 12, 2002 Clemson, SC - After facing NC State tonight in Raleigh, the Clemson men's tennis team will return home to play host to nationally ranked Miami on Saturday afternoon at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center. First serve of Saturday's match is scheduled for 2:00PM.
Clemson is 19-19 all-time against Miami. Although the Hurricanes
defeated Clemson last season by a score of 6-1, the Tigers have won
three of the last four in the series. For Clemson this season, freshman
Sander Koning has won six straight singles matches and leads the team
with an 18-4 dual record. In doubles for the Tigers, the duo of Damiisa
Robinson and Goran Sterijovski has played six matches in the number-one
position and owns a 12-5 overall record.
