Men's Tennis Notches 6-1 Victory over Texas A&M at Corpus Christi

Fair Oaks, TX - The Clemson men's tennis team defeated Texas A&M at Corpus Christi 6-1 on Tuesday. With the win, Clemson improved its record to 16-5 on the season. The Tigers have now won 10 of their last 11 matches. Clemson won five of the six singles matches, Sander Koning upped his singles record to 18-6 with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Luis Moris. In doubles, the Tigers claimed two of the three matches. The Tigers' number one duo of Nathan Thompson and Jarmaine Jenkins continued their outstanding play with a 9-8 victory over Goncalo Figueiredo and Moris of the Islanders. Clemson next plays on Friday, March 21 in the Rice Invitational.
