Hoke Sloan was a charter member of IPTAY beginning in 1934. A longtime Clemson resident, he served as the Head Men's Tennis Coach for 28 years from 1930-59. Thanks in part to his large contribution, the tennis center on campus is named after him.
Sloan was inducted into the Clemson Hall of Fame in 1977.
