CLEMSON, SC--The Clemson men's soccer team will play host to Alabama-Birmingham in an exhibition match at Historic Riggs Field on Sunday, August 17 at 12:00 p.m. The match had originally been scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start.
Clemson returns 11 letter winners and six starters from last year's team. Head Coach Trevor Adair is entering his 14th season at Clemson and has won 167 matches. For his career he has won 201 matches.
Tommy Drake is the Tigers' leading returning scorer as he had five goals and three assists for 13 points as a freshman in 2007. Joseph Bendik was the Tigers' goalkeeper in 2007. He had a 1.50 GAA average and 93 saves in 2007.
