Goalkeeper Doug Warren was Clemson's highest selection as the 14th overall pick by D.C. United

KANSAS CITY, MO-Three Clemson soccer players were selected in the MLS Super Draft held at Kansas City, MO.

Clemson goalkeeper Doug Warren was the 14th pick by D.C. United. Defender Ricky Lewis was the 20th pick overall by the Los Angeles Galaxy. Striker Dimelon Westfield was the 22nd selection and went to the New England Revolution.

Warren was a member of the U-23 national team and a NSCAA All-American this past season. Lewis came out after his junior season as he had four goals and six assists. Westfield was also an NSCAA All-American and led the Tigers in scoring with 20 goals and five assists in his senior season.
