N.C. State Wins Over Clemson 1-0 in Men's Soccer

RALEIGH, NC -- Shaker Asads' goal with under two minutes left in regulation gave ninth-ranked N.C. State a 1-0 win over Clemson in an Atlantic Coast Conference men's soccer match at Raleigh, NC Sunday afternoon.

Asads' shot from 15 yards out hit the post and went into the net to give the Wolfpack the win. Asads' goal (88:03) was assisted by Pablo Mastroeni and Sebastian Rodriguez. Asad is a freshman midfielder from Raleigh, NC.

N.C. State, ranked ninth in the nation by Soccer America, improves to 6-1 overall, 2-0 in the ACC. Clemson falls to 3-4-1 overall and 1-2 in league play.
