CLEMSON, S.C.--Clemson and Georgia Southern played to a 0-0 overtime tie in a men's soccer game at Clemson, SC Wednesday night.
Clemson is now 5-4-2 overall, while Georgia Southern is now 9-1-2 this season. Georgia Southern is ranked 19th in the Soccer America poll and 25th in the NSCAA.
The Tigers' goalkeeper Matt Jordan had six saves in the game, all occuring in the second half including one with :05 second left to go in the overtime period to preserve the tie.
The Eagles' goalkeeper Mike Burell had 12 saves.
Clemson will play host to South Carolina Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
