Clemson Men's Soccer Blanks Charlotte 4-0

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The sixth-ranked Clemson men's soccer team won their final regular season match as they defeated Charlotte 4-0 on Sunday afternoon. Clemson improved to 13-3-1 on the season while Charlotte fell to 8-8-2. Clemson scored their first goal when Nathan Rawlins connected on a scoring shot in front of the Charlotte goal off assists from Fabio Tambosi and Pablo Webster at the 24:04 mark of the match. Clemson increased their lead to 2-0 when Oguchi Onyewu scored an unassisted goal at the 46:08 mark of the match. Clemson scored their third goal when Steven Rhyne connected on a goal off an assist from Pablo Webster at the 49:14 mark. Clemson made the final score 4-0 when Ian Fuller scored an unassisted goal when he corralled a Charlotte defender deflections at the 60:07 mark. Clemson's next action will be in the ACC Tournament in Winston-Salem, NC on November 9-12.
