CLEMSON, S.C.--Ross Goodacre and Ian Fuller both scored goals in leading Clemson to a 2-1 win over UNC-Charlotte in a men's intercollegiate soccer match at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon.

With the win, Clemson improves to 8-5-2 overall, while UNC-Charlotte falls to 5-8 this season. The Tigers have now won five matches in a row. The Tigers will play at Furman on Wednesday, October 27, at 7:00 p.m.

Clemson scored both of its goals in the first half as Ross Goodacre scored at the 12:04 mark with an assist by Mark Lisi. This was Goodacre's third goal of the season.

Ian Fuller scored for the Tigers right before the half at the 43:17 point. Ian Fuller scored on a "give and go" with Fabio Tambosi. Fuller scored from eight yards out for his fourth goal of the year.

UNC-Charlotte scored late in the game at the 84:52 mark. Doug Brown scored on a 20 yard shot from an assist by Dusty Reineke. This was Brown's second goal of the year.
