CLEMSON, S.C. - Orjan Bjaneso assisted on three Akron goals as the Zips defeated Clemson 3-1 in the 24th annual Clemson/Nike Soccer at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon.

With the win, Arkon improves to 6-3-1 overall, while Clemson falls to 3-5-2 this season. Akron finished third in the tournament, and Clemson was fourth.

Christer Larsen, Torbjorn Birkeland, and Chris Gnandt all scored for Akron in the match.

Bjaneso becomes only the third player in history to have three assists against the Tigers. His performance was also a tournament record.
