Coach Penley on D.J. Trahan
“I don’t know what I can say about D.J. Trahan. He is the returning National Player of the Year and has meant so much to our program the last four years. I can’t believe he is entering his final semester at Clemson. He had a very busy fall playing all over the world, but I know he is going to turn all of his focus, toward his team play and his individual play at Clemson this spring. He wants to be a part of the first Clemson golf team to win a national championship. Those are his goals. “ I really expect a great spring out of DJ. His ball striking continues to be fantastic, and he has continued to work hard on his short game and putting. It’s getting a lot more consistent. D.J. is going to be a fantastic professional. “
