Overview: Had the best fall of 2005 of any Clemson golfer with a 73.22 stroke average...played in all three tournaments for the Tigers this fall, one of three Tigers to play in all three events...recorded his fourth career Top 10 at the Isleworth Collegiate with an 8th place finish to lead the Tigers...started in eight events in 2004-05 and finished with a 75.17 stroke average...had top finish among Tiger golfers at the NCAA East Regional in Nashville... named the team's most improved player in 2003-04, he came from nowhere to serve as a starter in seven events, including all three postseason tournaments...went from never playing to a 73.05 stroke average for the year...red-shirt senior who had three top-ten finishes in his first five events as a Tiger...reached a top 60 ranking according to the Sagarin golf rankings late in the 2004 season...outstanding student who has been named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll each of the last three years, he has a chance to become first four-time selection since Jonathan Byrd (1997-00)...one of four Tigers in history to record a hole-in-one, he accomplished the feat on November 7, 2004 at The Farm in Dalton, GA

Summer 2005:Played in seven amateur events over the summer of 2005, recording 3 top 11 finishes at the Rice Planters Amateur, Palmetto Amateur, and South Carolina Amateur...joined fellow Clemson golfer Tanner Ervin as the only two Tigers to qualify for the U.S. Amateur...shot a course record breaking 62 in the first round of qualifying at Woodside Plantation in Aiken, SC to get into the U.S. Amateur...shot rounds of 72 at Merion Golf Club and 77 at Pennsylvania Country Club to miss the match play portion of the Championship...had rounds of 72-70-69 for a five under par 211 total to finish T-11 in the Rice Planters Amateur...had rounds of 68-68-73-74 for a five under par 283 total to finish T-5 in the South Carolina Amateur...led the South Carolina Amateur after two rounds...had another top 10 finish at the Palmetto Amateur where he shot consistent rounds of 70-70-72-71 for a one-under-par total 283 and an 8th-place finish...also competed in the Southern Amateur where he finished 29th, and the South Carolina Match Play where he lost one-down to Gari Maton in the round of 16...

In 2004-05 Academic Year at Clemson: Played in eight of the 12 events...ended the season with a 75.17 stroke average, fourth best on the team...had 13 rounds at 75 or under...had season best 68 at the NCAA East Regional...the 210 score at the NCAA was the bet 54 hole score by a Tiger all year...the three-under par score was tied for second best by a Tiger all season...had rounds of 76-76-74 at The Ridges to start the season... Clemson's top performer in the Ping Preview at Caves Valley, the site of the 2005 NCAA Championships shooting rounds of 74-73-72 for a 27th place finish...had rounds of 75-74-76 in the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate at Old Overton in Birmingham... his top shot of the year and as a Tiger took place on November 7, 2004 at the Carpet Capital Classic when he scored a hole in one on the par three eighth hole...hit a four-iron 240 yards for he ace, just the third ace in Clemson history...fourth among Tigers in stroke average for the fall with a 75.60 figure, but above his 73.05 of last year...played in all five stroke-play events, plus the Hooters Match Play...had a 1-2-1 record at the Hooters Match Play, but three of the four matches came down to the 18th hole and the other match was decided on 17...defeated Andrew Stephens of Kentucky 3 and 1 in the first round, helping the Tigers to a 3-2 team win...suffered a heart-breaking loss to Farren Keenan of Texas in the second round, 1-up...Keenan won the last hole with a 75-yard chip-in to gain the 1-up victory....Keenan had earlier made a 35-foot putt halve the 17th hole of the match....in the Puerto Rico Classic had rounds of 75-72-74 for a five-over-par 221 total to finish 35th individually...came out of the lineup after rounds of 78-76-85 in the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas...did not see any action until the NCAA East Regional at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Nashville, TN...came back strong at the NCAAs after two months, he led Clemson with rounds of 68-72-70 for a three under par 210 total and an 18th place finish overall.

Summer 2004: Played in five major amateur events in the summer of 2004...finished second in the South Carolina Amateur with an even par 288...had rounds of 71-73-70-74...also 12th at the Rice Planters with a 281, seven under par...had a third round 67 for his best round of the summer, he had four rounds of par or better in that event...42nd at the Monroe with a 289 score and 26th at the Dogwood Invitational in Atlanta with a 289, one over par...also competed in the Palmetto Amateur.

2003-04 Academic Year at Clemson: Fixture in Clemson's lineup over the past six events of the year...he collected three top-10 finishes in those events and was among Clemson's top three finishers in four of the six events...his score counted in 15 of his 18 rounds in the spring, and in 17 of his 21 rounds for the year...shot 74-70-72 for an even-par total of 216 at the Schenkel Invitational...he finished 10th in that event, best among Clemson golfers...shot six-under 210 at Atlanta to finish sixth among individuals...that total included a second round 67, his career-best round... finished the regular season strong with his third top 10 at the ACC Tournament...his score counted every round for the Tigers in that championship performance...shot 72-69-69 to finish six-under at Old North State Club... continued his steady play with a 29th-place finish at the East Regional at Yale University...shot 70-76-72 for an eight-over 218 total for Clemson's championship team...his score counted in the first and third rounds of that event...was two-under par on par 5s for the event...played at the Ridges in September, as he filled in nicely for Matt Hendrix, who was returning from Walker Cup competition...consistent in his three rounds...he finished 10-over-par and helped the Tigers to a third-place finish to open the season....third on the team and 78th in the nation with a 72.56 stroke average entering the NCAA national tournament...ranked in the top 100 nationally in par 3 scoring...also ranked 83rd nationally in subpar strokes per round (3.50)...solid putter, as he ranked second on the team with 30.22 average putts per round... ranked 60th in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin ratings entering the national tournament.

Summer 2003: Won the Festival of Flowers in Greenwood, SC in late June...shot six-under-par and defeated Jay Haas, Jr. in that event...also took part in the Carolinas Amateur Match Play Championship...shot consecutive rounds of 74 and did not qualify for the match play portion of that event.
