Only player in Clemson history to score a touchdown on a blocked punt return in a bowl game...picked up blocked punt and raced 18 yards for a score in the second period...had a perfect 4.0 in the classroom as a freshman...had major impact in the win over South Carolina in 1997, he recovered a fumble on a key drive late in the second period that turned the momentum of the game in Clemson's direction...South Carolina was leading 14-6 at the time and driving, Clemson won the game 47-21...played 55 snaps in that game, almost half of his action in his entire career...played from scrimmage in nine of the 12 games that year, including the Auburn game in the Peach Bowl...had 15 tackles for the season, including five on special teams...played from scrimmage in every game but Appalachian State and North Carolina...had two tackles in six plays, plus a PBU against Maryland.
