Overview
Team leader in many ways, he is the president of Clemson’s LIFELINE organization, the team’s leadership group…consistent Dean’s List Student who already has his degree, he played this year as a graduate student…showed great leadership on the field, especially in his final game in Death Valley…caught 30-yard pass from Charlie Whitehurst to set up the winning touchdown in the fourth quarter in Clemson’s 27-20 victory over South Carolina…started all 13 games in 2002 and averaged 58 plays per game, more than any other Clemson receiver…only receiver to start all 12 games…ranked fourth on the team in receptions with 18, he has 54 catches in his Clemson career…veteran of 44 games and 29 starts, he will be a three-year starter at Clemson…also helped the cause as a kickoff return man early in the season, he had four returns for 60 yards…has an even 100 kickoff return yards for his career and has over 700 all-purpose yards…one of the reasons he sees so much playing time is his blocking ability…the top blocking receiver on the Clemson team…played at least 50 snaps in every game…had his best game in two years in the win over South Carolina with season high four catches for 49 yards…also had 3-28 against Ball State…had 45 receiving yards on just two catches against Virginia…while he caught only 17 balls, he did have at least one reception in 10 of the 12 games…has made many clutch, third-down receptions this year… has played over 1800 career snaps, more than any other active Clemson receiver….

Prior to 2002
Endured an injury plagued 2001 season…missed two games with a broken jaw, another game with a shoulder problem and a pulled hamstring…played in nine games overall, he played double figures in each contest he appeared…did have a catch for eight yards against Duke in the regular season finale and another reception in the bowl win over Louisiana Tech… had 3-36 receiving against Virginia, including 21-yarder, his long catch of the year… high school teammate of Woodrow Dantzler… .finished the year with 2-25 in the Gator Bowl against Virginia Tech...third on the Clemson team in total receptions behind All-American Rod Gardner and All-ACC back Travis Zachery...had 26 catches for 301 yards and three scores in 2000…had a season high four catches for 76 yards at North Carolina...that total included a 29-yard touchdown pass from then freshman Willie Simmons...also had a touchdown catch in the opener against The Citadel and a 30-yard scoring pass from Woodrow Dantzler at Virginia...that touchdown against Virginia gave the Tigers a 17-10 lead, a lead Clemson never relinquished…played at least 35 snaps in every game, at least 40 the last 10 games of the season...played 55 snaps against South Carolina, he suffered a separated shoulder in the fourth quarter and was listed as questionable for the Gator Bowl...but, came back strong and played 56 plays and started the contest...fine all-around student-athlete, he attended NCAA leadership conference in Orlando in May of 1999... recipient of the team's Hustle Award on offense for the 2000 season... lettered as a freshman wide receiver in 1999, he played 151 plays in 10 games and caught two passes, both from Dantzler...that included a 25-yard touchdown pass from Dantzler against Duke for his first career reception...had four touchdowns on his 26 career receptions...Woody and Jackie teamed up 51 times for 700 yards and five scores in 1996 at Orangeburg Wilkinson...Robinson had 75 catches his senior year of high school (1997) after Dantzler had left for Clemson...a member of the United State Junior Olympic team in 1996 as a sprinter...born 7-22-80...earned his degree in health science.
