Overview: Coming off a season-ending injury in 2007, he will look for a lot of playing time as a senior cornerback...sat out the spring as he recovered from a torn ACL; he suffered the injury three snaps into the fifth game of the year, meaning he played three snaps too many as far as getting a medical hardship year from the NCAA...joins Michael Hamlin and Chris Clemons as seniors in the secondary...veteran of 25 career games, including one start...contributor to three teams that have won at least eight games.

2007: Second-string cornerback who played in the first five games before he suffered a torn ACL at Georgia Tech...played 107 snaps and had six tackles along with two tackles for loss...averaged 26 snaps per game until the injury, so he was a big part of the secondary that finished the year in the top 10 in the nation in pass efficiency defense...had a career game against Furman; in a season-high 31 snaps, he had three tackles, two tackles for loss, and two caused fumbles.

2006: Started against Florida Atlantic and played 49 snaps with three tackles...had two stops in 53 snaps the remainder of the year...played eight games...played special teams only in three games...had his only pass breakup against North Carolina. 2005: Second-team cornerback as a first-year freshman; his playing time increased during the second half of the year...played just 24 snaps on defense in the first six games, then played 114 in the last six games...played all 12 games...saw his most action against Duke when he was on the field for 38 snaps...played 26 snaps against #16 Florida State and was one of the reasons the Seminoles failed to score an offensive touchdown...played 16 snaps at N.C. State and 28 snaps against Temple...had six tackles on the year.

Before Clemson: Shrine Bowl starter...had 65 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and five interceptions as a senior at Stratford High School...first-ever Tiger football signee from Stratford High School...all-region, all-lowcountry, and all-state selection as a senior...led his team to the state championship game and a 13-2 record as a senior...all-state by High School Sports Report...#62 cornerback in the nation, #19 prospect in the state, and All-Mid-Atlantic by SuperPrep...#64 cornerback in the nation by Scout.com...#36 cornerback in the nation and #16 prospect in South Carolina by Rivals.com...#14 on Spartanburg Herald-Journal's Fab-50 list...coached by Ray Stackley...born Feb. 18, 1986...majoring in management.
