Overview: Started the 2002 season as Clemson’s starting cornerback...suffered a torn ACL in the first game of 2002 and was lost for the season...went through spring practice of 2003, but did not scrimmage, he should be ready to go in the fall and will challenge to regain his starting cornerback position...will battle Tye Hill for a starting cornerback position...his interception at South Carolina in 2001 is his most memorable play...grew up a Clemson fan, he still has sweat bands of former Clemson stars Brentson Buckner and Dexter Davis that he collected after games at Death Valley in the early 1990s...went to the Clemson Hall of Fame Bowl game against Illinois in 1991...offered scholarships to Chattanooga and S.C. State out of high school, but his mother encouraged him to come to Clemson and walk-on...told his dad when he was 10-years-old he would one day score a touchdown in Death Valley...member of LifeLine, the team’s leadership organization.

In 2002: On his 12th snap of the season at Georgia, he suffered a torn ACL and was lost for the season...had a tackle prior to his season-ending injury.
