Overview: One of six active Tigers to play in each of the last three Clemson bowl games, he has been a reserve in each contest...graduate student wide receiver who had a 3.55 career GPA in industrial engineering when he graduated...graduated in December of 2002, he sat out spring practice, he will return to the team in the fall...had just one career catch coming into 2002, but improved that total to 10 for 166 yards in 2002...an original walk-on who is an outstanding athlete...listed as a starter at wide receiver (Z position) entering August practice...joins Tommy Sharpe as original walk-ons listed in the starting lineup entering fall practice...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll each of the last two years...came to Clemson after a semester at Air Force Academy Prep School in Colorado Springs, CO...a player of high character, he has overcome the death of his mother, who was killed by a drunk driver when he was only nine years old...he himself was hit by a truck on his fourth birthday and suffered a ruptured spleen and four broken ribs...had to re-learn how to walk after the accident...grew up living with relatives in Charleston, SC and Georgia...entered Clemson in January of 1999...first thing he did when he came to campus was go to Death Valley.

In 2002: Second on the 2002 Clemson team in yards per catch with a 16.6 average (10-166)...also completed two passes in three attempts for 37 yards...had one catch for 22 yards against Texas Tech in the Tangerine Bowl...had many big plays, it seemed he made at least one big play in every game in 2002...had three receptions for 85 yards in just 10 snaps on offense in the win over Georgia Tech, he led the team in receiving yardage in that game...named the Shoneys/CSS Player-of-the-Game for his performance against Georgia Tech...his 44-yard touchdown reception from Willie Simmons gave Clemson a commanding 24-6 lead in the third quarter...that is only touchdown catch of his Clemson career so far...had at least one catch in four of the first five games...also had a 41-yard pass completion to J.J. McKelvey to set up a field goal at Florida State...also completed a pass the next week against Virginia.

In 2001: Recipient of the highest GPA Award among juniors...had one catch in seven games as a reserve wide receiver, it came in the Humanitarian Bowl against Louisiana Tech...played 20 of his 30 snaps from scrimmage in the Humanitarian Bowl...had two catches for 24 yards in the Spring Game, including a 19-yarder on Historic Riggs Field.

In 2000: Played 11 games and made one tackle on special teams...missed only the Virginia game...played at wide receiver against Missouri and Wake Forest, and on the special teams in nine other games...played three snaps against Missouri and nine against Wake Forest...had a good spring, especially in the Spring Game, where he had three catches for 88 yards, including a 51-yard catch...one of only two sophomore walk-ons to earn a letter.

In 1999: Red-shirted the season as a walk-on wide receiver.

In High School: Attended James Island High School, where he played for David Reese...graduated from high school in the spring of 1997...played in the North-South High School All-Star game in 1996...first-team All-Lowcountry in 1996 when he caught 56 passes for 773 yards and six scores...earned two letters each in football, baseball, and basketball...played on the 1995 state AAA baseball championship team...attended U.S. Air Force Academy Prep School before coming to Clemson...gained an appointment to the Air Force Academy in 1998, but never enrolled, and transferred to Clemson in 1999...born Antonio L.
