Position:
Director of High School Relations

Mike Dooley is in his fifth year with the Clemson Football program and currently serves as the Director of High School relations. His responsibilities involve maintaining and improving the relationships between high school coaches and the Clemson Football Program.

Prior to being hired as the Director of High School Relations, he served for two years as Defensive Video Graduate Assistant and for a year and a half as Offensive Graduate Assistant Coach. Dooley also served as interim tight ends coach for the second half of the 2008 when Dabo Swinney was hired as Head Coach. In his four previous years at Clemson the football program went to four bowl games and won 32 games.

Dooley worked as an assistant coach for Greenville High School from 1998-2004 before coming to Clemson. His responsibilities included serving Defensive Coordinator from 2000-2004 and Assistant Head Coach in 2004. In his last three years, Greenville High School had a record of 33-4, including a 12-1 record in 2003. Current Tiger Cory Lambert and former Clemson running back Alex Pearson played at Greenville High during that time.

Dooley, 34, is a native of Toccoa, GA. He lettered as a defensive end at Furman from 1993-1995, but missed his senior year due to injury. He had a sack against Clemson in 1994. Furman reached the Division 1-AA Playoffs during his final season. Dooley was an Academic Honor Roll member and received his degree in Health and Exercise Science from Furman in 1998.
