Overview: Experienced and improving offensive tackle who should move into the starting lineup in 2007...listed as the first-team right tackle before and after spring practice...second-team offensive tackle in both 2005 and 2006 behind Marion Dukes...veteran of 221 snaps and 23 career games...played in nine games as sophomore and all 13 games in 2006...one of three senior offensive linemen who move into the starting lineup for the first time in 2007...one of the strongest players on the team; he has the fourth-best squat lift (565), seventh-best bench press (415), eighth-highest total weight lifted (1,535), and ninth-best in 225 reps (25)...top-100 prospect in Florida out of high school, where he did not allow a sack as a senior.
