Jeff Bryant was a second-team All-American on Clemson's 1981 National Championship team. That season, he led the team in sacks and tackles for loss. He also was selected All-ACC that year. He will always be remembered for his fumble recovery against North Carolina in 1981 late in the fourth quarter that kept the national championship hopes alive.
After playing at Clemson, Bryant was the number six overall draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 1982. He played 13 years in the NFL, making the All-Rookie team his first year. He was inducted into the Clemson Hall of Fame in 1996 and named to Clemson's Centennial team that same year.
