LIFE-LINE Community Service Project

Name: ADOPT-A-TIGER

Mission: Clemson football players will serve as positive role models by showing children at Clemson Elementary that our interests extend beyond the football field.

Description: Individual football players will be teaming up with individual teachers at Clemson Elementary. These two individuals will work out times for the player to attend the class to visit, read to, and speak to the students on any subject that the teacher sees fit. These times should fit into the schedule of the player, and the teacher should use the player as a resource. The player and the teacher should be in contact at least once a week to discuss times for visits and topics for discussion. Players should be encouraged to bring other team members with them to visit the class.

Goal: It is our goal that this particular project will develop into a long-lasting relationship between the Clemson Football Team and Clemson Elementary. Hopefully this project will continue for years to come.
