Woody's Diary
October 18th
Once again the Tigers had a big challenge at hand. And once again they step up, and did their job. We prepared ourselves all week for a big game and a big game is what we got. Coming off a chilling win against a great Georgia Tech team and some how came out with a win. We took the momentum off of that along with the confidence from that win and took on a very good N.C. State team at there place and once again came out with a win. For the second straight week the offense put up some good numbers and answered the call of a very talented defense in the Wolfpack. Our defense is also coming into their own. They are beginning get some confidence in themselves and playing more as a unit. Which in the long run is going to be good for them.

We must now take the little momentum that we have and try and keep it going against another team that has a bit of momentum behind them. The Tarheels of North Carolina are a team riding high of what is turning out to be a great season. They have a great defense, which will really give us a measure of how good our offense really is. Our defense will also get to check themselves against two quality quarterbacks. Will they be up for the challenge, we shall see come Saturday. This won't be an easy win. Just like the rest, we will have to play as a unit and execute in order to come out on top.
