Tiger fans will always remember Greg Buckner for his dunk against North Carolina in the 1996 ACC Tournament

March 10, 2004

The most memorable dunk in Clemson history took place against North Carolina in the 1996 ACC Tournament in Greensboro. It was executed by then-sophomore Greg Buckner with 0.6 seconds remaining in the contest. Clemson had trailed by nine points at the half and had never beaten the Tar Heels in the ACC Tournament. But when Buckner took a pass from then-freshman Harold Jamison and dunked the ball over Antawn Jamison, Clemson had a 75-73 victory.
