CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Ian Chadwick scored 20 of his 27 points in the second half to lead Wofford to a 79-74 upset over Clemson on Sunday.

Wofford, the second smallest school in Division I, hadn't beaten Clemson since the 1947-48 season.

Chadwick was 8 of 15 from the field and 7 of 13 from 3-point range. Starzee Walker chipped in 16 points for the Terriers (1-1).

The Tigers jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first four minutes, but the Terriers came back to take a 25-23 advantage on a 3-pointer by Walker with 6:41 remaining in the first half.

Will Solomon, who led the Tigers with 28 points, scored eight points in the final 3:09 to help build Clemson's 42-38 halftime lead.

Clemson opened the second half by scoring on seven of 10 possessions to push their lead to 58-44. Solomon's 3-pointer at the 10:38 mark gave the Tigers (1-1) their biggest lead at 61-44.

But then Clemson fell apart. Wofford scored 19 straight points to take a 63-61 lead. Chadwick scored 11 of the 19 points, including nine on 3-pointers.

The Tigers scored just one field goal in the final 10 minutes and had 10 turnovers in the second half against Wofford's full-court pressure.

The loss ended Clemson's home winning streak against non-conference teams at 39 and its winning streak against Southern Conference schools at 42.
