Overview: Served as backup point guard for the Tigers in 2008-09 and gained valuable experience as part of Clemson's regular nine-man rotation...should see more court time as a sophomore as his comfort level grows and he improves his strength...possesses an outstanding jump shot that should serve as a major asset for Clemson in 2009-10...showed tremendous skills as a ball-handler as a freshman...his assist-to-turnover ratio was the second-best single-season mark in school history...also did a good job in Clemson's fullcourt pressure defense, ranking among the team leaders in steals despite limited playing time...signed with Clemson after displaying tremendous leadership abilities on the AAU circuit prior to his senior year of high school...described as a "winner" by Head Coach Oliver Purnell...earned the team's Air Force ROTC Award as a freshman...honor is presented to the player best exhibiting the core values of the Air Force, as demonstrated by integrity, service before self, and all-around excellence.

Best Games of 2008-09: Best performances of the year came on the road, in wins over South Carolina and Georgia Tech...posted season-highs in points (13), assists (8), and steals (4) in the comeback win over the Gamecocks...filled in for foul-plagued Stitt and ran the Tiger offense to perfection...nailed a crucial wing three late in the game to keep the Gamecocks at bay...sank 4-4 three-point shots, all in the second half, of the Tigers' comeback win over Georgia Tech in Atlanta...that was a special performance for the native of the Peach State...third double-figure scoring effort of the season was in the home win against Maryland...hit 4-5 shots in that game, including 2-3 from long range...added three thefts against the Terrapins...scored eight points and hit 3-6 shots in 20 minutes against Temple, also filling in for Stitt who was in foul trouble...scored nine against Wofford with five assists...totaled six points and two steals at Charlotte...hit 2-5 three-pointers and helped the Tigers stave off a feisty Charlotte team in front of a raucous crowd...scored six points in 16 minutes against Alabama...posted seven points in first trip to Chapel Hill...scored five points in Clemson's comeback win at Virginia Tech...tallied seven points and two assists in 14 minutes against Virginia, Clemson's final home game of the season...hit 2-3 threes and scored six in the ACC Tournament game against Georgia Tech...posted nine points and hit 3-5 from three-point distance in the NCAA Tournament loss to Michigan.
