Overview: Senior walk-on in his first year with the Tiger program...one of four walk-ons this season for Clemson...great grandson of Robert F. Poole, former President of Clemson and football player, who was inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006...father and brother both played tennis for Clemson...played at Broughton High School with Shavlik Randolph in 2002, who went on to play at Duke and is now in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Before Clemson: Lettered two years in basketball and four in tennis at Broughton High School...first-team all-conference basketball selection as a senior...led team to consecutive 4A state championships in tennis...state tournament MVP in tennis in 2003...born 3/4/85...majoring in management.
