Best Games of 2008-09: Posted a career-high 14 points on 4-4 field goals and 6-7 free throws against East Carolina...added six rebounds against the Pirates...hit 5-5 shots and totaled 11 points and five caroms against Presbyterian...made all four of his field goal attempts and scored 10 points in home win over Georgia Tech...did the same against Maryland, where he added four rebounds in 16 active minutes...tallied 10 points in home win over Virginia, where he made 4-5 shots and 2-2 free throws...most memorable performance may have been against #3 Duke on Feb. 4...made 4-5 shots, including a pair of dunks, in Clemson's rout of the Blue Devils...posted eight points, seven rebounds, and five blocked shots against Savannah State...had seven points and three blocks in win over SC State...scored nine points on 4-6 shooting at Miami, while also contributing five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks...blocked career-high five shots at North Carolina, including several shots by Tar Heel All-American Tyler Hansbrough...had five points, three boards, and three blocks at home against Virginia Tech...posted six points and two blocked shots at Wake Forest and earned his first career start in the ACC Tournament game against Georgia Tech...posted five offensive rebounds and three blocked shots in NCAA Tournament game with Michigan.
In 2007-08: Played in 30 games and averaged 8.3 minutes per contest as a first-year freshman...for the season averaged 2.1 points and 2.2 rebounds per game...ranked sixth on the team with 39 offensive rebounds, meaning he had a team-best ratio of one offensive board per every 6.4 minutes played...ranked in a tie for third on the team with 20 blocked shots...played in the first 18 games of the season, then sat out the Wake Forest win after suffering a rib injury the previous game at Duke...played double figure minutes in 14 games, with a season-high of 17 in the Dec. 29 game against Samford...had at least one blocked shot in half of his games played (15).
