High Point/Thomasville, NC - Clemson right-handed pitcher Justin Sarratt turned in another magical performance in the Coastal Plain League's Petit Cup to pace the HiToms to their third consecutive C.P.L. title.

Scattering 10 hits, the junior from Gaffney, SC threw a complete game masterpiece allowing just one run while striking out eight Peninsula Pilots and walking none in the HiToms 8-1 win.

Sarratt's Petit Cup gem was one of eight dominating starts this summer for the HiToms. Pacing C.P.L. starters with a 1.06 E.R.A., Sarratt threw 59 innings, struck out 57 and allowed just eight runs (seven earned), 35 hits (seven extra-base hits) and an opponent's batting average of .172. The Gaffney resident was also named to the C.P.L. All-Star and garnered C.P.L. Rawlings Pitcher of the Week awards three times.
