RALEIGH, NC - The Coastal Plain League announced Monday that Thomasville's Justin Sarratt was tabbed Rawlings Tri-Pitcher of the Week for week three of action (June 16 - June 22).

Sarratt, a 5-10, 175-pound sophomore from Clemson, went nine complete innings on the mound to grab the win and come away with a 1.00 ERA. In those nine innings, he allowed just one earned run on four hits to go with a walk and an impressive nine strikeouts. On the summer, the righthander is 2-1 with a 1.85 ERA through three appearances, including a complete game. He has pitched 24.1 innings thus far and surrendered just six runs, five earned, on 15 hits to go with five walks and 21 strikeouts.

The Coastal Plain League is the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league, now in its twelfth season. Featuring 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, the CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with wooden bats during the summer months. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts.
