Kyle Frank (Wolfeboro, NH) signed a free agent contract with the New York Yankees Thursday. Frank will first report to mini-camp in Tampa, FL before joining the Staten Island Yankees of the New York Penn League. Frank had 243 hits in 229 career games as a Tiger over four seasons and was a member of five NCAA Tournament teams. He also committed just three errors in 395 career chances in centerfield. He hit 14 homers and drove in 138 runs as well. In 2003, he hit .322 with nine homers and 48 RBIs.
