Brad McCann extended his hitting streak to 13 games Thursday before heavy rain suspended play.

Winston-Salem, NC -

The baseball game between Clemson and Wake Forest Thursday at Winston-Salem, NC was suspended in the fourth inning with the Demon Deacons leading 2-1. Heavy storms rolled through the area, forcing the suspension of play. The game will resume at 12:00 PM Friday with Jeff Hourigan batting in the top of the fourth inning. There are no outs and bases are empty, as Hourigan has a 2-0 count. The second game Friday will be played approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one of the series.
