Senior catcher Doug Hogan was named Eye on the Golden Spikes National Player-of-the-Week by USABaseball.com, announced Monday. Redshirt freshman pitcher Graham Stoneburner collected weekly honors from the Atlantic Coast Conference, also announced Monday.

Hogan played a large part in the Tigers' 4-1 record last week. The righthanded Hogan hit two home runs in back-to-back games against #21 Coastal Carolina and Furman. Hogan's home runs, which came in two Clemson victories, included two two-run home runs, a three-run home run and a grand slam. For the week, seven of Hogan's eight hits were extra-base hits. He led the team with 24 total bases and six runs scored on the week as well.

A righthander from Richmond, VA, Stoneburner recorded Clemson's first individual shutout since 2005 in a two-hit shutout of N.C. State on Sunday to earn ACC Pitcher-of-the-Week honors. In 9.0 innings pitched, he allowed only two hits and one walk while striking out seven. He threw 118 pitches in the game and did not let a Wolfpack player past second base. On the season, Stoneburner has a 4-0 record with a 2.70 ERA in five starts and one relief appearance.

The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow before hitting the road to return to conference play this weekend. Clemson plays Elon on Tuesday and Wednesday with the first pitch for both games set at 7:15 p.m.
