Tyler Colvin's outfield assist in the first inning was his sixth of the season.
Taylor Harbin's second-inning error was just his ninth error in 317 chances. He is now fielding at a .972 clip.
Adrian Casanova threw out two of three stolen base attempts on the day. For the season, Casanova threw out 20 of 65 base stealers.
Andy D'Alessio's third-inning error was just his sixth in 588 chances. He is now fielding at a .990 clip.

After going 1-11 in the final game of the ACC Tournament with runners in scoring position, Clemson started tonight's game 0-5 with RISP in the first six innings. In the seventh inning, Clemson was 4-for-6 with eight RBI in the seventh inning with RISP. With back-to-back doubles and a single in the eighth inning, Clemson finished the game 7-14 (.500) and 11 RBI with runners in scoring position
Demmink's bases-loaded triple in the seventh inning improved him to 4-for-6 with 10 RBI with the bases loaded.

With the win, Clemson improves its NCAA Tournament record to 85-64. The Tigers are 40-24 in NCAA Tournament games under head coach Jack Leggett.

Clemson's record improves to 40-21 overall this season, eclipsing the 40-win plateau after recording 39 wins in each of the last two seasons. The Tigers have now won at least 40 games in 18 of its last 20 seasons.

Tonight's game marks the Aggies' first-ever NCAA Regional appearance.
Nick Mayo stole his team-leading 20th base in 24 attempts in the first inning.
Mayo's two-out RBI triple in the fifth inning was his first career triple.
With a single in the first inning and another single in the sixth inning, Jeremy Jones recorded his 24th multi-hit game of the season. He is now 81-202 (.401) on the season.
Jones was 1-for-2 on the day with men in scoring position. He is now 29-62 (.468) on the season with runners in scoring position.
Starting pitcher Michael Hauff had a strong outing through the first six innings, holding Clemson to one run on three hits, but finished the game allowing five hits and five runs (four earned) in 6.1 innings.
With the loss, North Carolina A&T falls to 0-1 all-time in NCAA Tournament play.
