Strong freshman first-baseman and outfielder who will compete for innings behind Andy D'Alessio at first base...has the versatility to play several outfield positions and will compete for time as the designated hitter in 2007...one of two first-year freshmen from the state of Pennsylvania on the 2007 squad, joining lefthander Matt Zoltak (Philadelphia).

Head Coach Jack Leggett on Morris: "Tim is a freshman, lefthanded hitter who can play first base and outfield along with designated hitter. He has a chance to be a very strong lefthanded hitter as a freshman as he picks up experience during practices and scrimmages. I think he has a chance to be a good player here at Clemson. He needs to be consistent with all his fundamentals and put things together. With that experience, good things are going to come from him."
