Head Coach Jack Leggett on Delk: "Trey is a junior college transfer from Spartanburg Methodist College with experience. He has a strong arm with a good curveball. He is going to be factor for us this year in helping us win. He is a very good team player and works extremely hard, so I see good things happening for him."
BEFORE CLEMSON: Spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons at Spartanburg Methodist College, where he was coached by Tim Wallace...#3 junior college prospect in South Carolina by Perfect Game...first-team all-region selection in 2007...member of the region champions in 2006 and 2007, and member of the district champions in 2007...spent the 2005 season at South Carolina, but he did not appear in a game...region player-of-the-year as a junior and senior at Lugoff-Elgin High School, where he was coached by Randy Stokes...South Carolina Select team member as a senior.
