We see him as a player who will be in the middle part of the order if he remains consistent." 2006: Hit .219 (7-for-32) with three doubles, a homer, and eight RBIs in 25 games (two starts, both as DH); Clemson won both games that he started...hit .333 with runners in scoring position and .294 with runners on base...had 11 putouts, including seven at catcher, two at first base, and two in the outfield, without an error...had his first career hit that scored a run and added an RBI double in the second game of a doubleheader against Mercer on Feb. 26; it was is first career start...hit a pinch-hit, two-run double against Maryland on Apr. 9...hit a pinch-hit double against Wofford on Apr. 26...hit a pinch-hit single against Virginia Tech on Apr. 29...came off the bench and had a single and an RBI in the second game of a doubleheader at Duke on May 8...came off the bench and went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and his first career homer, a three-run shot, against #22 Wake Forest on May 18...played for Keene in the NECBL in the summer, where he hit .203 with four homers and 10 RBIs in 23 games (22 starts).
