• His time was 6.60 at the national meet, it marked the first time in school history that two student-athletes placed in the top three of the same event at the NCAA Championships (teammate Travis Padgett won the 60m race)
• Automatic NCAA qualifier in the 60m dash after winning the ACC Championship in a record time of 6.52 seconds, which was the fastest time in the country
• Clemson's first 60m champion at the conference meet since fellow football player Tye Hill accomplished the feat in 2004
• Earned All-ACC honors in the 200m dash, with a time of 21.43 in third-place effort
• Earned ACC Indoor Freshman of the Year honors, the third Tiger in eight seasons to claim that award
