Minneapolis, MN - On the second day of the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, MN, the Clemson Women's Swimming & Diving team had another solid day in the pool. Michelle Parkhurst led the way for the Lady Tigers as she picked up a 28th place finish in the 100 backstroke. Parkhurst touched the wall with a final time of 54.96, close to her school record of 54.49.

Clemson also participated in the 200 medley relay. The team of Parkhurst, Lauren Sindall, Rachel Regone, and Kallie Deters swam to a time of 1:45.90 to place 23rd. No Lady Tigers qualified for tonight's championship finals.

The four swimmers will save their energy up for one final push tomorrow morning as Parkhurst will swim the 200 backstroke, Regone will swim in the 100 freestyle, and Clemson will try to make the top 16 in the 400 freestyle relay. The action will start Saturday at 11 AM (CST).
