Clemson Swimming Loses to Kentucky

CLEMSON, S.C.- The Clemson men's and women's swimming and diving teams lost to the Kentucky Wildcats in a swim meet held today in McHugh Natatorium. The 17th ranked Lady Tigers lost to the 19th ranked Lady Wildcats by a score of 157-88, their record now is 5-2 on the season. The Wildcats beat the Tigers by only 2 points, 123.50 to 121.50, their record is now 4-4 on the season.

Jennifer Mihalik and Razvan Petcu led the way for the Tigers, winning two events each. Mihalik won the 100 and 200 backstoke with times 56.94 and 2:00.89, respectively. Petcu won the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.09 and the 100 freestyle with a time of 46.55.

The Clemson swimming and diving team next returns to action as they travel to the University of North Carolina on Saturday, January 10.
