Minneapolis, MN- On the last day of competition at the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, MN, Michelle Parkhurst led the way for the Lady Tigers as she broke her own school record in the 200 backstroke. The sophomore from Vienna, VA finished 18th in the event with a final time of 1:57.40, taking down her old mark of 1:57.74 from last season's ACC Championships. Clemson closed out the meet with no overall points.

Parkhurst's 18th place finish will make her the second alternate for tonight's consolation final. Rachel Regone also participated for the Lady Tigers as she sprinted to a time of 50.69 to place 55th. This was the second consecutive year that a Clemson women's swimmer broke a record on the final day of the NCAA meet.
