Women's Swimming and Diving Defeats N.C. State Cami Sink leads the Tigers, winning the 200 IM and the 500 free.

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Clemson women's swimming and diving team, ranked 21st nationally, defeated N.C. State, 177-66, Saturday afternoon at the McHugh Natorium on Clemson's campus. Freshman Cami Sink lead the Tigers, winning the 200 IM in 2:05.43 and the 500 free in 5:02.75. Senior Kathy Lowry won the 50 free in 24.07, while sophomore Leslie Anderson was victorious in the 100 free (52.87). In the 200 free Clemson junior Jen Mihalik took first place in 1:51.26, while senior Stacey Finner won the 1000 free in 10:26.35. Freshman Carolina Douglas took first place in the 100 back with a time of 59.40, and senior Amy Suppinger won the 100 fly in 57.81. Sophomore Lauren Rafferty won the 100 breast in 1:06.95. The Tiger 400 Medley Relay team of Mihalik, Sink, Suppinger and Meagan Davis placed first with a time of 3:53.30. The Tigers (6-2, 2-1 ACC) will swim at the ACC Championships Feb. 18-20 in College Park, MD. |
