2007-08: Opened season with a victory in 200 back (1:52.11) vs. VT... Won 200 back in second consecutive meet in 1:51.49 on 10/13 in Atlanta... Finished second in 200 back (1:50.27) at #12 Virginia...Against SCAD, placed second in 400 IM and 500 free, won 200 free relay, and sixth in 100 breast, and 15th in the 100 back...Placed fourth in the 200 back with a 1:49.02 and placed 12th in the 200 fly...Picked up second in the 200 back and fifth in the 100 back against #15 UNC...Placed second in the 500 free, third in the 200 IM, and first in the 200 free relay against Davidson...Placed second in the 200 back against ACC foe NC State...won the 200 back (1:49.77) and took fourth in the 100 back in upset win against #25 FSU...Won the 200 medley relay and took second in the 200 IM and 1000 free against Gardner-Webb...Won the 200 back, took fifth in the 100 back, and fourth in the 400 IM against Duke...At ACC Championships: Swam lifetime-best 49.80 in the 100 back... 2006-07: As a freshman, recorded the fifth fastest time in Clemson history in the 200 backstroke (1:48.16) during the preliminary heats of the ACC Championships...Went on to finish 10th in the event, and also participated in the preliminary heats of the 50 freestyle (22.16) and 100 backstroke (52.35)...Placed third in the 100 backstroke (51.94) with a season best time, and 200 backstroke (1:52.48) his first meet as a Tiger against Florida State...Won his first event of his career against Georgia Tech by winning the 200 backstroke (1:51.66)...At the 2006 Nike cup, placed fourth in the 200 backstroke (1:52.07), 19th in the 100 backstroke (52.56), and was a member of the 13th place 200 medley relay (1:35.35), and 13th place 400 medley relay (3:28.20)...Claimed second in the 200 backstroke (1:51.69) and fifth in the 100 backstroke (52.36) in the final home meet against N.C.
