2007-08: Swam second leg of Tigers winning 400 free relay squad, picked up a win in 200 free (1:52.73), and had a third-place finish in 200 back (2:04.32) in meet vs. VT... Won 100 back (56.71), finished second in 200 back (2:02.73), and swam second leg of second place 400 free relay team in quad meet on 10/13... Had terrific all around meet against South Carolina, winning 100 (57.08) and 200 back (2:03.14), 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay...Won 50 free, 500 free, and 200 free relay against SCAD...At Nike Cup: Had a busy first day, finishing 8th in the 50 free (23.45), leading off fourth place 400 medley relay group, and swimming anchor on 200 free relay group, which set a new Nike Cup record as well as qualified for NCAA-B cut...On the second day, she posted a 1:48.77 NCAA-B cut in the 200 free to finish third, and a 54.53 NCAA-B in the 100 back, which she won by almost two seconds...On final day, won the 200 back with an NCAA-B 1:57.99 and anchored NCAA-B 400 free relay... Won the 100 back and 200 back at Koury Natatorium in a meet with #10 UNC and Rutgers with two NCAA-B times...Also placed second in the 400 free relay and third in the 200 medley relay...Won 500 free (4:56.96) against Davidson...Won back-to-back events in the 200 free and 100 back, and also won the 200 medley relay and finished second in the 100 free at NC State...Won the 200 free (1:50.76), 100 back (56.81), 200 back (1:59.93), and 400 free relay against #20 FSU...Won 1000 free (10:11.00) and 200 free relay against Gardner-Webb...Won 200 free, 200 back, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay in home win over Duke...At ACC Championships: Had one of the best ACC Championships for any swimmer in ACC history... Won the 200 back in ACC record time of 1:55.33... Recorded ACC record in 200 free (1:44.74) during 800 free relay, before going on to win the 200 free...Won 100 back in career-best 53.58...anchored 200 free relay group that defended ACC title with an ACC and pool-record 1:30.60.... Also led-off fourth place 400 free relay group with a 49.96, the second-best 100 free time in Clemson history...For her efforts, Parkhurst was awarded the ACC's Most Valuable Swimmer, as voted by the 11 head coaches.
2006-07: Had her best meet of the season at the ACC Championships where she placed second in the 100 backstroke (55.17), seventh in the 200 backstroke (2:00.42), 13th in the 50 freestyle (23.41), and was a member of the fifth place 200 medley (1:42.45), 400 medley (3:45.57), and 400 freestyle relay's (3:25.75), as well as the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:31.09) that broke the ACC meet, UNC pool, and Clemson school record...Placed first in the 100 backstroke (56.55) and 200 backstroke (2:00.74) in the season opener against #17 Florida State...Also won the 100 (56.45), and 200 backstrokes (2:00.27), and was a member of the second place 200 medley relay (1:45.98), fourth place 400 medley relay (3:51.75), third place 200 freestyle relay (1:35.57), and third place 400 freestyle relay (3:29.81)...Claimed the top spot against rival South Carolina in the 200 freestyle (1:50.13), 100 backstroke (57.28), and 200 backstroke (2:04.07)...At the 2006 Nike Cup, swam a season best time in the 200 freestyle (1:49.08) to win the event and move up to fifth place on the Clemson all-time list...Also at the Nike Cup, won the 100 backstroke (55.61), and finished second in the 200 backstroke (2:00.57)...At the NCAA Championships, finished with a school record and a career best time in the 200 backstroke (1:57.40), and also swam in the preliminary heats of the 100 backstroke (54.96), 50 freestyle (23.90), and 200 freestyle relay (1:31.00).
2005-06: Broke two school records in the 100 backstroke (54.49) and 200 backstroke (1:57.74) at the ACC Championships to finish second and third, respectively...also at the meet, placed 12th in the 50 freestyle (23.62), and was a member of the 800 freestyle relay (7:18.70) that won the silver medal, the 400 medley relay (3:45.02) that got the bronze, the 200 medley relay (1:43.05) that got sixth, and the 200 freestyle relay that got sixth (1:33.14)...was awarded ACC Swimmer-of-the-Week honors during the regular season for the week of January 9...finished 24th in the 100 backstroke (54.92), and 31st in the 200 backstroke (2:00.35) at the 2006 NCAA Championships...against #14 Virginia, won the 200 backstroke (2:00.48), and was a member of the winning 400 medley (3:49.85) and 400 freestyle (3:28.44) relay teams...took first place in the 200 backstroke (2:03.32), and was a member of the winning 400 freestyle relay (3:31.77) and second place 400 medley relay (3:52.33) versus #16 Florida State...at the 2005 Nike Cup, took first place in the 100 backstroke (55.09), 200 backstroke (1:59.82), and was a member of the winning 400 medley relay (3:44.39) and 800 freestyle relays (7:24.36)...also placed fifth in the 50 freestyle (23.39) and was a member of the second place 200 freestyle relay team (1:34.29), fourth place 200 medley relay (1:43.94), and fifth place 400 freestyle relay (3:28.91)...placed first in the 100 backstroke (56.39) and 200 backstroke (2:02.51), third in the 50 freestyle (24.09), and was part of the second place 400 medley relay against #21 North Carolina...recorded three first place finishes at N.C. State in the 400 medley relay (3:53.67), 200 freestyle (1:52.45), and 200 backstroke (2:02.70)...was named to the Honorable Mention CSCAA Academic All-American list.
