1999-2000:
All American in 400 IM...Set top five times in 400 IM last
year, including career best time of 4:16.03 at the NCAA
Championships...also recorded personal best of 2:03.28 in the 200 IM at
the NCAA Championships...fourth on Clemson's all-time best list in 200
IM and second all-time in the 400 IM...was third at the ACC
Championships in the 400 IM with a time of 4:18.66...won the 200 IM
against Alabama, Virginia Tech, NC State, Miami and Michigan...recorded
best 200 back time of the year (2:02.98) at the ACC Preliminaries
setting the tenth best time in Clemson history.
1998-99:
Finished
second in the 400 IM at Tennessee with a provisional time of 4:25.06
to enter the record book in 10th place on Clemson's all-time
list...placed seventh in the 400 IM and 10th in the 200 back
(2:03.73) at the ACC Championships...swam a season-best 2:03.53 in
the 200 back to place third at Virginia...was second in the 400 IM at
Virginia Tech (4:33.07) ...placed third with a time of 4:29.09 in the
400 IM at Florida Atlantic...earned College Swim Coaches Association
Academic All-America honors.
In High School:
Two-time Scholastic
All-American from 1996-1997...member of the Dynamo Swim
Club...recipient of 1997 St. Pius Golden Lion Award...earned MVP
honors for St. Pius High School in 1995 and 1996...National Honor
Society member from 1995-1998...four year lettermen in
swimming...swam for Jennifer Clayton and Elaine Whalen...born on
10/12/79.
