2006-07: In his first season as a Tiger, made an immediate impression by posting seventh best time in Clemson history in the 100 freestyle (44.83), and the fourth best time in Clemson history in the 100 butterfly (48.21)...Was named to the All-ACC team by finishing third in the 100 butterfly at the ACC Championships...Also at the meet, finished seventh in the 100 freestyle, placed 14th in the 200 butterfly (1:50.39), and was a member of the third place 200 freestyle relay (1:20.30), second place 400 medley relay (3:16.68), and third place 200 medley relay (1:28.45) that broke the school record...Recorded a pair of fourth place finishes in the 100 (51.34) and 200 butterfly (1:56.04) versus Florida State...Against Georgia Tech, won the 100 butterfly (50.28), placed second in the 200 butterfly (1:54.96), and was a member of the winning 400 freestyle relay (3:05.52)...Swam to a season best time of 1:45.28 in the 200 freestyle to claim second place against Davidson...In the final home meet against N.C. State, placed second in the 100 butterfly (50.94), third in the 200 butterfly (1:53.11), and was part of the pool record breaking 200 freestyle relay (1:22.48).
In High School: Named Georgia Swimmer of the Year in 1999...Four-time Academic All-American...holds the Georgia state record for 100 free...also holds the 100 free record in the state of Virginia...transferred from the University of Tennessee where he was a member of the swim team...born 8/20/85...majoring in chemistry.
