2006-07: As a junior co-captain, led the Tigers to a nine win season, and had his best performance at the ACC Championships...Swam a career best time in the 50 freestyle (20.84) to finish 18th, had a season best time in the 200 backstroke (1:50.80) to place 14th, swam to an 18th place finish in the 100 backstroke (50.89), and anchored the bronze medal winning 200 freestyle relay (1:20.30)...Against Florida State, took second in the 100 backstroke (51.90), and was a member of the third place 200 medley relay (1:33.38)...In a tight win over South Carolina, placed second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 51.53, and was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:31.84)...At the Nike Cup, had a season best time in the 100 backstroke (50.40) leading off the seventh place 400 medley relay...Also at the meet, finished ninth in the 100 backstroke (50.93), 15th in the 200 backstroke (1:53.50), and was a member of the fourth place 200 medley relay (1:31.35), 10th place 200 freestyle relay (1:24.98), and 11th place 400 freestyle relay (3:08.52)...Finished third in the 100 backstroke (51.68), and was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:33.25) versus North Carolina...In the final dual meet of the season against Duke, won the 200 backstroke (1:55.01), finished second in the 100 backstroke (52.02), and swam on the first place 200 medley relay.
2005-06: Junior captain that helped lead the Tigers to a win at the 2005 Nike Cup...Recorded three season fastest times in the 50 freestyle (21.38), 100 backstroke (50.88) and 200 backstroke (1:52.71)...Placed 9th in the 200 backstroke, 10th in the 100 backstroke, 18th in the 100 butterfly and 50 freestyle, and was a member of the fourth place 400 medley relay (3:22.26), fifth place 200 medley relay (1:32.69)...Finished second in the 100 backstroke (51.54) and fourth in the 200 backstroke (1:55.41) in the win over South Carolina...Took second in the 50 backstroke (24.16) and 100 backstroke (52.49), and was a member of the fourth place 200 medley relay team (1:35.84) versus #17 Kentucky...Against #23 North Carolina, finished second in the 100 backstroke (51.65), fifth in the 200 backstroke (1:53.78), and was a member of the third place 400 medley relay (3:26.34)...Placed second in the 200 backstroke (1:53.37) and was a part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:31.75)...At the ACC Championships, swam a season fastest time in the 100 butterfly (51.58), and finished 19th in the 100 backstroke (51.62) and 200 backstroke (1:53.15).
2004-2005: Swam his best meet of the season against Florida Atlantic and Denver earning second place in the 200 back (1:56.39) and third place in both the 100 back (52.90) and the 200 IM (1:59.90)...finished in fourth place in both the 200 IM and the 100 back against Florida State...was a member of the fourth-place 200 medley relay team against Georgia with a time of 1:37.01 and finished in fifth place in the 100 back at the same meet...earned a second place finish in the 200 medley relay against South Carolina...competed in three event finals at the Nike Cup earning 20th place in the 200 IM with a time of 1:54.87 and 23rd place in the 100 fly after posting a time of 52.10...was also a member of the seventh-place 200 medley relay team that recorded a time of 1:35.25 at the Nike Cup...finished in fourth place in the 100 back against top-ranked Auburn with a time of 54.15...was a member of the fourth place 200 medley relay team that posted a time of 1:36.06 against North Carolina...finished in third place in the 100 free against Davidson with a mark of 49.03...swam in the preliminary rounds of the 200 IM, the 100 fly, and the 100 back at the ACC Championships.
2003-2004: Red-shirted the 2003-04 season due to injury...a member of Clemson's Dean's List.
In High School: The South Carolina High School State Champion in the 200 IM in 2001 and 2002...an all-state selection from 1999-2002 and an all-conference honoree from 1998-2002...named conference Swimmer of the Year in 2001 and 2002...a High School Academic All-American in 2002...earned six varsity letters in swimming at J.L. Mann High School...swam for Team Greenville under coach Scot Bonine...born 11/26/84...graduated with a degree in communications studies.
