Had a breakout freshman season highlighted by recording an NCAA Provisional Qualifying time in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.24) at the ACC Championships to place fifth...Holds the second fastest time in Clemson history in the event...Also at the ACC meet, finished 13th in the 200 breaststroke with a season best time of 2:19.90, and was a member of the fifth place 200 medley relay (1:42.45) and 400 medley relay teams (3:45.57)...Against Georgia Tech and Boston College, placed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.99), third in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.83), and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay...Versus in-state rival South Carolina, finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.67), fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:24.40), and was part of the second place 200 medley relay (1:47.10)...At the 2006 Nike Cup, placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.24), ninth in the 200 breaststroke (2:21.06), and was a member of the 200 medley (1:44.32) and 400 medley relay's (3:46.78) that claimed fourth.
