A member of the 4x400m relay team that placed sixth nationally indoors with a time of 3:37.34, earning All-America honors...placed second in the 400m dash (54.87) and third in the 200m dash (23.78) at the ACC Indoor Championships...anchored the 4x400m relay team that won the ACC indoor championship with a time of 3:39.59...recorded a 51.3 split to help Clemson's 4x400m relay team qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships...ran the 200m in 23.59 to place second at the Florida Relays...raced on the 4x100m relay team that placed first at the Clemson Relays, the Sea Ray Relays and the Orange & Purple Classic.

1996-97
The only American freshman to compete in the 200m at the NCAA Indoor Championships...member of the ACC Indoor Championship 4x400m relay team (3:42.76)...anchored the 4x100m relay team at the national outdoor competition...also anchored the 4x400m relay at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, earning All-America honors in a time of 3:32.18.

Gatorade Track & Field Athlete-of-the-Year for the state of Kentucky in 1996...1995 TAC Junior National Champion in the 400m dash...three-time state champion in the 400m, the 200m, and the mile relay for the state of Kentucky...state champion in the long jump and the 100m dash...as a prep, ran a personal best 54.10 in the 400m dash at the East Coast Invitational in Fairfax, VA...holds the Kentucky state record for the 400m dash with a time of 55.46...holds Ft.
